Hattons Solictors NCL Chairman Trevor Hunt has praised the Widnes Vikings for their help in delaying this years NCL Grand Final.

"Our thanks go to those at the Stobart Stadium and Widnes Vikings for their understanding and co-operation in facilitating of the moving of the Grand Final back by two weeks," Hunt.

"The weather has been unprecedented in the NCL history, but all the clubs are stoically carrying on and eagerly awaiting the full resumption of the League campaign."
 
"It will still be a tough finish for all concerned in the play-off, promotion and relegation battles, but this two weeks extension does give us much needed leeway as we attempt to get all the fixtures completed."
