The RFL would like to remind all clubs that time is running out for them to send in their applications for the CCPR Sports Club of the Year 2010.

The RFL will be putting three clubs forward ahead of the Friday 12 February deadline and are urging clubs to fill in a form.

Run in association with the Foundation for Sport & the Arts (FSA) and runningsports, this prestigious award recognises sports clubs which have made an outstanding contribution within their community.

This year will follow a similar format to previous years with three third place prizes of £1000, two second place prices of £3000 and one first place prize of £6000.

An application form can be downloaded from www.ccpr.org.uk/ourservices/events/ccprevents/ccprsportscluboftheyearaward2010.htm

The University Sports Club of the Year award - supported by runningsports - will again be back after a successful inaugural year.

The RFL will therefore be looking to select two University clubs to go forward as Rugby League's entries into this prominent award.

Completed applications should be received by the RFL no later than Friday 12 February. The successful clubs will then be sent on to the CCPR ahead of their deadline a week later.

Applications should be sent to:
The RFL, Rugby League Services, The Zone, St Andrews Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 6PT or via e-mail to tom.hoyle@rfl.uk.com
